Custom printed plastic pens: what they cost and which to choose for each use
A plastic pen with your logo costs from €0.40 per unit, with printing included. This category brings together basic giveaway pens, recycled options for campaigns with a message, and more refined models for visits or welcome packs. Here you can compare today’s prices for printed pens, see real examples for each use and check what matters before you order.
How much does a custom printed plastic pen cost?
Unit price with your logo in one colour in the standard print area, excluding VAT and delivery. The price drops as quantities rise because the print setup is spread across more units.

For trade shows, conferences and large giveaways
When the pen is going on a conference table, at a training session or on a counter, what matters most is a low unit cost and a logo that reads quickly. Basic plastic promotional pens, in solid colours or white with a colour detail, work well with pad printing and are light to carry.
The most common mistake is choosing a logo colour too close to the barrel. Go for contrast, and don’t try to fit your web address, strapline and phone number into such a small area: at this size, one clear idea works best, usually just the logo.

· 250 units For campaigns with an environmental message
If the campaign needs an environmental message or a slightly more refined feel, look for recycled plastic barrels, soft-touch finishes or clear designs. This range includes models in R-ABS or recycled polycarbonate that suit pad printing and, on light-coloured barrels, UV digital print.
The product page shows whether the material is recycled, but the logo still comes first. If it has gradients or fine detail, a white or light barrel with UV is usually best; on dark backgrounds, a light solid ink works better so nothing gets lost.

· 250 units For visits and welcome packs
For visitors, speakers or a more considered welcome pack, it makes sense to step up a level in finish and presentation. This is where premium models fit in, with metal clips, recognised writing brands or aluminium barrels, with pad printing or engraving depending on the item.
Don’t decide on the photo alone. For this kind of detail, how it writes matters just as much as how the logo looks in the hand. If the order matters, ask for samples first; and if you need something clearly intended as a gift, also look at engraved metal pens.

Minimum order and design
The minimum order is €100.00 excluding VAT per quote, and you can mix models to reach it: a basic one for trade shows and a recycled one for training can go in the same order. The prices on this page are per unit, with your logo in one colour in the standard print area, excluding VAT and delivery.
Upload your logo on the product page to see the price straight away, or request a free full-size mock-up: you only pay when you approve it. The delivery time is shown on each product page. If the run is important, ask for samples first to check the writing quality and barrel colour.
